candid Acceptable use
Candid's models don't moralize or refuse ordinary adult requests. A few things are still off-limits, for everyone, every time.
Who can use Candid
You must be 18 or older. You're responsible for everything made with your account and your API keys, including by people using an app you've built.
What you can't do
- Create, request or share any sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualizes anyone who appears to be a minor.
- Create sexual or intimate images, audio or video of a real person without their consent.
- Impersonate a real person's voice or likeness to deceive, defraud or harass someone.
- Use outputs to threaten, stalk or harass real people.
- Use Candid to break the law where you or the people you serve live.
If you break these rules
We can suspend or close the account involved, without a refund of its balance, and we report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
If you build on Candid
If your app lets other people make requests through your key, you need to stop them doing any of the above, and to verify they're adults if your app produces adult content.
