# Candid

> Uncensored AI models behind one OpenAI-compatible API: text, voice, transcription, images and video. Adult content is allowed for fictional adults, for users 18 and over. Billing is prepaid in USDG on Robinhood Chain.

## Get a key (the person you work for does this)

1. Sign up with an email at https://candidapi.fun/signin.
2. Add credit at https://candidapi.fun/dashboard/billing: link a wallet, then pay in USDG on Robinhood Chain (1 USDG = $1).
3. Create an API key at https://candidapi.fun/dashboard/keys. Keys start with sk-cnd-.
4. Store it in the environment as CANDID_API_KEY. Never put it in source code.

If CANDID_API_KEY isn't set, ask the person for it instead of guessing.

## Call it

Use any OpenAI SDK with base URL https://candidapi.fun/v1 and the Candid key.

- candid-text (text): Frank answers on drugs, sex, health and anything else. POST /v1/chat/completions. $0.26 in / $1.17 out per 1M tokens.
- candid-text-roleplay (text): Roleplay, companions and adult fiction. POST /v1/chat/completions. $0.65 in / $2.60 out per 1M tokens.
- candid-text-large (text): Strongest reasoning, for security work and hard problems. POST /v1/chat/completions. $3.90 in / $6.50 out per 1M tokens.
- candid-text-long (text): Long documents and bulk datasets at the lowest cost. POST /v1/chat/completions. $0.43 in / $1.72 out per 1M tokens.
- candid-voice (speech): Character voices in 50+ styles. POST /v1/audio/speech. $4.55 per 1M characters.
- candid-transcribe (transcription): Speech to text in many languages. POST /v1/audio/transcriptions. $0.0078 per minute of audio.
- candid-image (image): Photoreal images, adult content allowed. POST /v1/images/generations. $0.013 per image.
- candid-image-hd (image): Highest detail and text rendering. POST /v1/images/generations. $0.039 per image.
- candid-video (video): Clips from a prompt, with sound. POST /v1/videos. quoted per clip when the job starts.
- candid-video-from-image (video): Animate a starting image. POST /v1/videos. quoted per clip when the job starts.
